My first attempt to design a circuit. I would like to build a circuit for my tail lights.

Ideally I would like to use the same leds for tail lights and brake lights as in this example. I have added a fade as a gimmick.

Now I would also like to turn on the brake lights column by column from left to right. I have no clue as to do this yet.
