Notice the description of 230 VAC, this is the rms rating. The EC source requires the peak rating, 320 volts peak. This is the difference of relaxing under a lamp reading a book or freaking out because your house is burning up. Nefarious knows how to relax.

I don't understand your comment. I used sine wave 50Hz 320 VPk (230 vrms) . It is a simple phase regulator, very popular. I replaced triac with two thirystors connected backward parraler. One thyristor is pnp and npn transistor connected together.

Sorry its mostly a comment for someone else from a different build, it directed to this to show how the other build didn't have the correct settings on the source. This build does have the correct settings then some.
