Changin value of resistance u can change the dc reference of the load voltage between 4.7 to 0.7 ... if diode direction is changed it will be a negative biased clamper

Wouldnt it be simpler if u use a single diode in series after the generator and the potentiometer after the diode

R u talkin abt sine wave genetator or the dc voltage generator?if Dc voltage generator then yes u can do that, the concept is the same. If serirs with sine wave generator then no it wont be a clamper anymore rafher it would act like a clipper
