Revamped to actually work, thoughts?

It adjust the output voltage only, not the current. The current is only limited by the battery and the diode. The opamp is working like a comparator and would always switch between 0 or 5V according if bat voltage is below or above reference voltage.

Okay, touched it up a little bit, I still can't figure how to push more current without raising the voltage above 4.2, which is BChargeMAX and I don't want to go higher than that

As i said, the diode is the limit!

So how do I squeeze more from the diode, slap a few in parallel?

Take a bigger one. Putting them in parallel is a bad idea because only one of them will take over almost all current. All others are starwing

How's a 400V 6A diode sound? ;)

Anyway, if the bat is at 3.7v there is 1.3V to bridge! As long its a voltage output and not a current limited one you will get in trouble

So now I need a current sensing circuit to detect when Li-IoncA is reaching a full level (i.e. draws less current) it should cut back the voltage?

This is why I prefer NiCad's, easier to charge xD
