8th order Chebyshev Bandpass Filter. This filters out frequencies outside of 1 kHz of 30 kHz, with a center frequency of ≈ 5.5 kHz. This filter circuit will be used to reject noise in a lightning detector. The ranges we are concerned with are from 300 Hz to 30 kHz but are most prominent at 5 kHz to 10 kHz. This will allow us to still pick up some higher frequencies from cloud-to-ground strikes if there happens to be frequencies above 10 kHz. We could use a lowpass filter since the antenna won't pick all of the signals below 1 kHz, but this will ensure we have little noise at lower frequencies. The switches are just to position the wires and must stay closed for the circuit to work.
