Nice basic circuit, a few pointers, 120Vrms = 170Vpeek or 340Vpeek to peek. Use ElectoDroid to keep an eye on standard values of resistors and capacitors in the circuits. The output capacitor needs too be a lot larger to act as a filter, even if you only draw a couple of mA.
