Laser Burner circuit

This is a simple laser burner circuit. The wiper on the 100 ohm. Pot is connected to the + in from the -out on the lm317 . Adj. from  Lm317 goes to resistor. The battery should be 6v.

Maybe try a couple circuits that are a little less, ambitious. To get used to things..
