Add an AND logic with the outputs b&d from the top counter connected to the inputs of the AND, b output to one input then d output to the other. Next remove the trace that corrects the carry and up in the bottom counter. Next connect the output of the AND to the rest of the top counter and the up of the bottom counter.

You could also duplicate this on the bottom counter with another AND connected to the bottom counter but with the output connected to only the rest of the bottom counter.
