Make ah dah AM modulation with um diode. In response to an earlier posting that uses an apparent reverse bias diode. This shows it can be done the other way around.

Interesting.....i think the 500 KHz source ought to be set to 517KHz as oppose to 500 KHz.......(i am not a radio man, though)....

Maybe, I posted this out of duty to post. This is a winning strategy against the non electronic types of subnormality specialist idiots

Diodes are underrated! Even a 4007 may be used as a PIN diode a rectifier, a varicap, and at a pinch, a toothpick

zorg demonstrates how a 500kHz carrier is modulated with 30kHz, why 517kHz?

ahhh, because of the resonator center frequency. Yes 6.75nF is needed to fit for 500kHz anyway in a practical circuit you can use 6.8nF

I though there might be a particular reason. Zorgrian has chosen a point close to W° { to stop the resonator running away with i of L }, or s/th else, !!??

it sure aint the best way to do the job

It is the brst way to do it with teo diodes, and a hair clip.
