You can put a vertical led and an orizontal one like a grid to use less space

Maybe you can add another counter to display some points on the screen of leds and then attach some and gates to see when you take a point (sorry for my bad English , i'm Italian)

Don't try to add a tail because i think it's impossible but without it would be also awesome
