Parallel works in real world but not in this sim

I don't understand this sim . I can hook up two batteries in parallel in real world and everything works fine. What is the point of it not working on here. This has frustrated me for some time

Unfortunately when EC desires to keep circuit calculations just a little bit simple, EC does not assign any resistance to switch contacts, so when it tries to calculate the parallel resistance of Zero and Zero, it has a bit of a dummy spit. The answer is simple, if you really need to parallel up some switches, put in some really small value resistors in the circuit so it doesn't have to do these zero calculations. http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5554408808251392

In doing so you violate KVL. You solve the problem by adding a very small resistance, say 10 ohms in series with the 1 V voltage source.

Ah thank you people

The resistor only needs to be .000001 of an Ohm.

I dud a few modifications but I am unsure why the current is not shown to travel through the whole circute and just loops instead. Led light up so what gives. Did it crap out on me? I know the current is traveling through the whole circute despite is showing with the squares it's just s loop

The dots representing current flow also give a bit of an idea how strong the current flow is, so if the current flowing through 1 resistor is half the values of the current flowing through another resistor the dots will be smaller.

Ah ok thank you. I like to see the path if current flow instead if imagining it and possibly imagining something wrong. They should ad a few more settings like having all batteries have some sort of resistance to make it more real world accurate and possibly the ability to have batteries gave limits on how long they can run before drained like ad amp hr ratings and a sort of level indicator if the battery inside the battery symbol iits self
