Why current not flowing through 1k

Between ( 0V to 2.7V ) and (0 to -3.7) the current should flow through 1k resistor (as both the diodes are not conducting) .what's wrong, it works when you increase dc voltage slowly but not when a sin voltage is connected.

i don't understand you. if i ckeck the current flow through the 1k resistor while the switch is connected to the 100Hz voltage source, there is a current flowing through it between -10 and 10 mA. what's your problem?

Click on resistor then use the eye icone to display resistor's current diagram.

The animation of electron flow is not present, this is because the animation is emphasising the flow in other areas so much that the animation through the resistor has became un-identifiable.

Between (0V to 2.7V) and (0V to -3.7V) both the diodes are not conducting therefore all the current should flow through 1k resistor.

Monitor current through and voltage across resistor. This will show visually what is happening.
