Phase 0 - Red
Phase 1 - Red and yellow
Phase 2 - green
Phase 3 - yellow
You can use up and down taps or signal source for showcase.
The sequence is but right... Only the perfect timing hasn't been considered at all...and the yellows flashing is completely missing here.
Regarding the timing factor this circuit is kinda nice but at the end of the day pretty useless cause a real traffic light circuit has some different concept. Look at old circuits of mine. They don't have this german traffic light sequence but even a better one cause it's saver and time can be adjusted and just a minimum of parts have been used.
This circuit PLUS 4 x IC 555 as a 4 stage-sequencer could provide that desired PERFECT TIMING and do the job....but it'll be a very large circuit...many parts....
I made this circuit cause one user did this using way too many logic gates.
Make a real TL...
