The aim of this circuit is to amplify the nerve signals from a leg of a cocroach to be audible when the output of this circuit is connected to a Radio Shack Mini Audio Amplifier This circuit is discussed in https://backyardbrains.com/experiments/transistorDesign Requirements: - Gain >= 150 - high pass filter cut off frequency > 300Hz There is two similar stages of common emitter amplifier, the second stage has an 50Ohm extra emitter resistor in series with the capacitor for stability. Gain from simulation: input: 0.006Vpp output: 6.61Vpp Max Gain: 6.61/0.006 = 1101 (with some distortion)
