The suggestions i can give you is regarding drive. The top mosfet needs bootstraping (google it) and a dead-time is required for the pwm signal to prevent both mosfets from being on at the same time (google for further details). The gates of the mosfets can be driven using pulsing transforms, or you can use the IR2151D. It's a self oscillating half bridge driver IC

I think this is a good setup because even though it doesn’t show it, there should be some LC oscillations between the capacitor and inductor, and your square wave pulses on the gates of the mosfet will act as an interrupter circuit
