555 Timer Hysteretic Oscillator

Trigger switch to start the oscillator.
Alternative version of 555 timer astable miltivibrator.
Doesnt use discharge transistor.
ON time and OFF time are equal.
Will post next version with duty cycle control.

Can you change the frequency with a pot ?

Yup... just change resistor value of which is in series with timing capacitor. This will change the time constant RC.
