I actually want to make the LEDs blink a little bit quicker anybody have ideas

To see the real time effects of a circuit, it must have a timebase of 1 Second, the base resistor should be approx the value of the load resistor X the transistors gain X 1.1. The capacitors fead back point is better the other side of the led. To now increase the oscillators speed, decrease the size of the capacitors. See http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5374528665157632

Christmas light setups may allow setting the flicker speed. Are you doing a string of LED lamps? Spinning motor making on/off electrical contact is simple system used in flashing signs.this
