Have you tried on pcb.? I want make one for my bike . Will it also work with 8 AA battery ?

I've tried it on a breadboard. I imagine this would work just fine with batteries, but I ran across an article in Make: Magazine, and/or Instructables using EL Wire for bikes, Google: Pedal Powered EL Wire Bike, you might find it interesting.
