Hello all, I followed an example of that circuit and if I want to building small to middle device that requires AC to DC converter and I found it. However, what is exactly value of transformer, diodes, capacitors, led diode, resistor, and AC to determine a value of DC output at 9V, 12V, or 24V?

120 Vrms is170 Vpeak. You haven't given much information, like current draw, or how much ripple would be desired and whether it is an switch or potentiometer adjusted. Anyway here is a rough and ready adjustable power supply, put a suitable fuse inline with the inlet and outlet switches.
