This project powers a 24 Volt relais using a 12Volt power supply.

The first two transistors act as a smitt-trigger.
When the switch is closed, the loading of C1 (left) gives a delay of 2 ms,
long enough to fully load C2 (right). 
Then the first relais is activated and the capacitor voltage is added to the 12Volt to 24 Volt, long enough the activate relais 2.
ones activated, the relais remains activated, till the switch is opened.
