That's cool that you're goin'for it outta the gate, but your workspace is way crowded- looks like downtown Tokyo in there lol! And your "pulse generator"- no, that's an AC voltage source. Same as the "clock" in a previous circuit of yours. EC does have a square wave voltage source- I think maybe that's what you wanted. It's there along side the other sources..

Thnks for feedback Sine_eyed. Yeah the clutter can't be helped, trying to keep it simple. Using the AC to get a symmetrical pulse, couldn't figure out how to use 1 square wave to get its inverse with same characteristics, need both sides of clock to drive alternate flipflops.

If level of hi clock for first flip is different for hi clock of second flop then could get funny behaviour ;) but let me know u know better way :)

Hey I just thought of something! You can keep it pure if you use a BJT pulse generation circuit. I posted one months ago (probly why I just remembered) so if you open my page scroll a ways back and you'll see it- "Pulse Generator" I think I called it- clever name right? lol. If you do stop by, might as well take a look at my blinkies- mm hmm heh he! I saw you comment on a triple astable today, so I think you'll find my collection interesting...
