Boost Converter with crude regulation, works by switching power on/off depending on output voltage. Uses a fixed frequency / fixed duty cycle oscillator to drive the switch ( NPN transistor ) in the converter.
I have actually built a similar circuit and it works surprisingly well, I think my circuit had some hysteresis on the comparator this one doesnt
