15V to 80V boost converter with simple voltage regulation

Boost Converter with crude regulation, works by switching power on/off depending on output voltage. Uses a fixed frequency / fixed duty cycle oscillator to drive the switch ( NPN transistor ) in the converter. I have actually built a similar circuit and it works surprisingly well, I think my circuit had some hysteresis on the comparator this one doesnt

I made that circuit around the end of 2015, will need to rake about and see if I have a hand drawn schematic

The priciple was the same fixed frequency, fixed duty cycle oscillator controlling the switch ( N mosfet I think ) was gated by a schmitt trigger monitoring the output voltage. Wider hysteresis = more stability but also more ripple, which could be reduced by subsequent filtering.
