14.4V Ni-MH charger

This is charger from old electric drill battery. I have this for along time and I copy circuit. I don't know how much must be input voltage and I give 24V (resistor 510mOhm get hot fast! I think because its damaged. Resistor is 2W, other two are 0,25W). Problem is because there is no temperature monitor! Better if you put some temperature switch like other have.

This is for electric drill. But youbcan use ti to charge AA or AAA 12x batterys Ni-Mh type in series. You have this betterys in diffrent things this days.
