The "ON" button(UPPER BUTTON) adjust the brightness and the "OFF" button(LOWER BUTTON) resets it back off.

How does it correct the brightness?.mobile sensor ?.it just switches between on and off state.

No Kushal, notice 3 resistors on 3 output nodes- so press the adjustment button 3 times for 3 different brightness settings..
