This simple humidity sensor circuit indicates the dampness level of soil. To achieve this, a pair of probes is used between pin 6 and 7. The ends of these probes are buried in the ground to be tested. It is ideal for checking the moisture level or the lack of it with plants. (Place a resistor across the probes and vary it’s value for simulation purpose only.)
