Transformerless power supply that uses voltage dropping capacitor as key element of AC-DC conversion. Output Voltage is then stabilized by voltage regulator circuit built around NPN transistor (like 78L05 linear voltage regulator would do). When used with FWB rectifiers 1uF voltage dropping capacitor may source about 70mA. Half wave rectifier used in this schematic will source about a half of FWB based power supply's current. Such power supplies can source current of up to 100mA.
