Mousetrap Alarm

Not able to run as simulation.  Set mousetrap. Spring lever connected to chassis frame (ground connection) and when tripped lever completes circuit to  nail or screw in wood to sound auto horn.  Horn continues to sound until circuit is opened or battery goes dead.  Switch could be tripped by steering turning movement, solenoid, pull string,  ext.  Lamp is symbol used for auto horn.  Perhaps, an auxiliary switch to tie in existing alarm system? Might make your catch of the day.

what about discharging a fully charged high voltage capacitor through the mouse

Use voltmeter to make sure your mouse circuit fully discharges.
