Two mosfets

The plan is to use two mosfets to switch two 12v feed using signals from an arduion at 5v

the ctual circuit works with TIP120 but they get really hot real quick  also the TIP120 steals almost 2v which obviously turns to heat   waiting for mosfet 30N06L from China

JoDaGi thank you for your circuit. With some more fiddling I gor my TIP12Os working without heat, seems I had a short somewhere which once that was gone my real circuit works fine. Still waiting on my mosfets to do a comparison.
