Not a PWM regulator. They usually work directly of a rectified mains and are very efficient. Plus a feedback from the output controls the PWM from which the output is derived.

So sorry for using not correct title and description. But can be used for LED strips or almost anything with 12V DC input, where is not so important feedback and corections.

@thebugger what the bugger you on about? It's fine, his title . Pulse width modulation is exactly what this poor man is projecting. Ps rectified Mains? By no way a requirement for PWM. Need not mention efficiently points. Missed your last point?

With this small of a Dc speed controller, no output sensor is needed for input control. Maybe for brushless/AC.
