Hi @Igor and EveryCircuit developers:
I would like to kindly share 6 ideas I have for the next update. I don't know if this is the best place for this, so let me know if you'd rather I do it differently. (By the way, my circuit is supposed to be a pixel art idea-light bulb in case you can't tell...)
1) LED Enhancement Mode
With the new RGB LED component, I think it would be swell if there was an option during runtime that would make the LEDs shine bigger and brighter and dim the rest of the circuitry. Perhaps it would be called "Pixel Mode." It would really make my LED circuits look way cooler.
2) Hide Wire Option
With the expanded workspace, sometimes the wire routing can go a little haywire and distract from the schematics. I think an option to hide a node (like it does automatically when there is no space to route a wire) will help readability. Here is an example of what I mean: https://everycircuit.com/circuit/6087206076416000
3) Group and Sort Private Circuits
I know that as the number of my circuits increases, it's gotten difficult to keep track of everything I've made. I think if we could create and name groups for circuits in their own tabs (like "Power Supply" or "555 Timer"), just like the "Examples" or "Community" tabs, it would help organization a lot.
4) Search Community Circuits by Bookmarks or Views
I suspect that many great circuits have gotten buried over time under the large quantity of posts. I think an option such as "> 50 bookmarks" or "> 800 views" under the "Resent" and "Popular" options will help searches.
5) Add AM and FM Options to the Ac Voltage Source Component
Just like we can select "DC" or "AC" or "Pulse" in the voltage source menu, think about adding "AM" and "FM". It would really help to experiment with radio circuits.
6) Fix Center-tap Transformer
Some of the more advanced users seem to have noticed some kind of problem with the center-tap transformer. I don't understand what it is, but maybe you could look into that. Here are the relevant posts: https://everycircuit.com/circuit/5035332999053312 and https://everycircuit.com/circuit/6077968788750336
I think these ideas won't be too hard to implement, and I know the community, and I will greatly appreciate your efforts. I understand programming requests are easy to suggest and time-consuming to create (though I'm no programmer), so if you can do any one of these, it would be swell.
Thanks!
