Resistor Cube

If you took some resistors and soldered their leads together into this configuration then you could easily bend the leads of the resistors to form a resistor cube where each solder is a vertex and each resistor is an edge. If you measured the resistance through the resistor cube from one corner to the opposite corner it will be 5/6th the resistance of the resistors, assuming all the resistors have the same value. So, if they are all 6kOhms, then the resistance between any pair of opposite corners on the cube will be 5/6th of 6kOhms, or 5kOhms.
