Problem with this circuit is the temperature behavior. Hfe will change, and a real BJT does not have perfect hfe of 100. Put this on a breadboard and see how this behave, you will be supprised how good this could be used as temperature sensor. Keep it up.

Thanks hurz i just picked up a couple arduino unos with some analog input components, one of which is a temp sensor.
