 In left switch's position the capacitor charges quickly, so you can shot very often. In real circuit replace switch by button.

В левом положении переключателя конденсатор заряжается быстро. Поэтому вспышки могут идти часто. В реальной схеме переключатель следует заменить  кнопкой.

Spot welders I have used had adjustable air pressure switches so while air pressure clamps metal together the weld voltage fired.
