NPN transistor with motor

When switch is open, the motor is still moving due to current moving in other direction.. any help please?

The only thing I see is that the simulator is still set on 1 millisecond per second and the motor is slowing down because of inertia. Change your simulator speed to something a little closer to one second per second and you should see the results you're looking for.
