Binary to Unary Using Nands

The 2 switches represent a binary number ( 0 to 3). As you count up in binary either 1, 2 or 3 LEDs will turn on. Fixed

No wonder it's not working, all the gates are pointing down and the electrons are falling out of them.

I am uncertain to why you have used the selected components, for simplicity sake I have removed the resistors and made every thing 5Vdc, included are two alternative arrangements. http://everycircuit.com/circuit/6232173224132608

Una = 1 this looks like an OR gate, any input = an output.

Thanks for help! It is now functioning properly. My Lecturer demonstrated something similar in class on a breadboard.
