For davidg. Please try to make sense of this and don't spread your totally untrue statements to people. This is the correct RF amplifier topology. It works in class C mode. They are unbiased or loosely biased and the input signal just barely reaches the transistor activation point. The amplified signal is only partial so to restore it and filter it we must run it through a tuned circuit. That's where the LC circuit comes in. The output contains a resonance LC circuit to partially restore the signal. Moreover transmitting harmonics is not something you'd wanna do because you may be interfering with someone else's reception. Let's not get into harmonics now. ⚠ This is only the RF amplifier stage. This is not a complete transmitter. You'll also need a carrier oscillator and a mixer/modulator. Davidg please try and educate yourself more in a given topic before you speak. - Input impedance - 28ohm - Output impedance - 50ohm - Input level - 1.1V/ 0.03W - Output level - 7.8V /0.6W
