A bit unrealistic with 100kH secondary inductivity. And run it with 5ms/s simspeed you will be supprised ;-)

@hurz, the 1k voltage is out there a little but I worked on an old WW2 tank engine one time that had a spark assist on it. The spark assist was made by Bendix and basically what you see here. The primary coil was used to pull a contact arm down from a closed contact position. When it opened it performed the same job as the points in an old ignition system.

The secondary went to one of the mags, when you applied power to the primary it pulled the points apart, that stopped the current going to the primary, when the field collapsed in the primary the secondary made a spark. The points went back to the closed position and the whole thing started over. It vibrated at around 1k hertz.
