Creating a 4V regulator with the Common Source Amplifier.

Search me on Linktree! Link in my bio! This circuit combines two topics: the Common Source Amplifier and the Voltage Regulator. In this case, the gain of the Common Source Amplifier is calculated to be 2. This means that the output voltage is 4V (pk - pk). The other circuit on the right is called the Voltage Regulator. As the name says, it tries to smooth out the input voltage. In this case, the voltage regulator tries to smooth out a 6Vpk-pk input voltage to a 4V DC output voltage. As you can see, it does not use transformers or normal diodes at all! Edit: it actually works for any voltage! The only exception here is the Zener diode.
