There are 3 different deltas in a 3Φ wye. A-B-N, B-C-N, and C-A-N. In this example I take A phase, B phase, and the center connection of the wye, I essentially have created a delta with a grounded phase and a 208 high-leg between A and B phases.
To keep the conductors identifiable, I will label the grounded phase as C phase, because I have kept A phase and B phase labeled the same, and I did not use the C phase of the wye. If I were to create a second delta out of B-C-N, I would label the grounded phase as A phase. For a tertiary system of C-A-N, I label the grounded phase B phase.
