Common Collector Voltage Amplifier

A hybrid amplifier with both current and voltage amplification. Current gain 22 times Voltage gain 10 times +20dB A rather unique topology. By decreasing the emitter degeneration we gain some voltage too. Not much around 10-20 but since this is intended to be mostly a current amp x10 voltage gain is good. The gain is primarily varied by the emitter divider ratio.

Looks like a power amplifier to me. You've got current and voltage gain. I mean, unless I'm wrong, you're putting in 330mV @ 50uV and getting 3.3V and 330uV out.

@rk- you mean micro-amps (uA) right? 330uA output yeah?..

Yep its sorta of a hybrid amplifier. I wonder if it could be readjusted in order to drive an 8ohm load or even 4...
