Actually, it is only half wave. Put the o'scope on the lamp voltage, instead of the current for the diodes. You will see half wave voltage.

I was wrong. I got fooled by the grounding. (A senior moment.) The center tap should be grounded instead of one leg. That would be typical. Thanks for getting me straightened out. After 40 years of experience, I should have seen it sooner. (blush)
