DC to sine wave

This creates a perfect analog sine wave. This is not an optimal solution, but it works like it should.

What is a "perfect" sine wave, if it looks perfect on the scope? Or if I measure it and see how perfect it is?

Perfect would probably be the actual math funtion (just to define the phrase).

Right, but even the math function is a numerical approximation, mostlikely by Taylor and also not perfect. At 0, pi/2, pi and pi*3/4, the approximation if even quite bad. But no circuit can make a perfect sin wave, cuz the energie you must put into a LC resonator is not a sinwave! And because its not a sin wave it does cause harmonics. In this case here we have 1.31% THD. So its by far not perfect. Good generators do have a THD of 0.05% or even less.

Well, I added a voltage source with exactly the same amplitude and frequency, adjusted the phase and compared the wafes. I just saw a really tiny amount of disortion at around 0.4pi and 1.4pi. The rest was perfectly overlapping.

But he is right. This wafe is not 100% perfect, but 99% is good enough for me.
