Change the current limiting resistor as the led is blowing up Also if you are new to electronics or just this app a suggestion is to look at the Examples tab circuits and maybe download the app called "Lessons in Electricity" that covers a lot of basics. Enjoy we are all learning

This really isn't a usable circuit. It is somewhat similar to an Astable Multivibrator, see the Examples tab.
