I often use this one to find out if the students just memorize or if they really understand the logic. If there is a NOT gate, why shouldn't there be a NEVER gate? b a | x -----+--- 0 0 | 0 0 1 | 0 1 0 | 0 1 1 | 0

Because a never gate is not useful. It has no purpose. As if there's nothing there.

My kid just reminded me of the gate to Never Never Land for Peter Pan would have been a Never Gate, nothing there but a alchohol induced journey.

actually i think quantum logic exists, it works in pairs called qbits or some such. you can't determine the state of a qbit directly, but you can solve the state by the result of its corresponding qbit and brainmelt
