Op-Amp you select does not have to be rail-to-rail. Q point is centered at half the supply voltage. Also the output is AC coupled.

Rail2rail is not what you think it is. R2R just means the output can reach the rail voltage, and does not drop e.g. one Ube

Ah yes, there is also r2r input though...

There are so many more surprising facts .....

Please only useful comments, thanks. Vagueness doesn't help anyone.

And if the OpAmp you selected does support rail2rail it wont help and a 6V virtual ground as reference would be needed anyway. So rail2rail is in this context total nonsense! Got it?

You obviously aren't a native English speaker... "Does NOT have to be rail to rail" READ THE DESCRIPTION! Also I've built this circuit in >real life< and the fact that you say it needs a 6v reference means you don't understand basic op-amp theory. Please don't go commenting around, confusing people who can actually learn from this. This is the most common single supply AC coupled design, and if you have a problem with it, you can argue with the 50 year old industry.

You are in big trouble if you do not understand 6V is your virtual ground. I think you have missed a lot facts here. And this r2r thing turns into a very funny property. BTW, the OpAmp DOES NOT NEED TO BE PINK PAINTED! Keep up your stupid logic.

The Virtual Ground is OBVIOUSLY 6v. But no semiconductor references are needed. Nobody in industry calls a voltage divider a reference. Are you kidding me?

Learn English. Then learn common EE terminology. Then comment.

I'm done with you. Please don't comment on any more of my designs.
