It is a one step close to became most simple ever invented single transistor sawtooth generator. U must only remove more components. Sawtooth osc has only fife including transistor and not count dc supply. Only one element need to be reconnected. And some removed :-) and tweaked parameters a ljttle

nice. current consumption is a bit to high. just increased 2.2 ohm to 270.
