I see this is your first circuit and it works so good job with the components. But, Ya blowed the LED up! Y'all need a current limiting resistor in series with each LED as the nominal voltage and amps for an LED is set at 2 v and 20 ma. The x means you have 2 times the nominal amps through the LED. See the Examples section under LED Current Limiting area down towards the bottom for more info.
