Each led represents 3, 5mm-3v-20mA leds (per segment) in a large 7 segment display. There will be 4 digits being controlled with 1, 2n22XX pnp and 7, npn transistors each, a max7219 and arduino micro running all 4 digits. Will this circuit protect the max7219 and arduino? Will it even work?
