This could be the next QRP headphone amplifier. It could have higher power output transistors. 

Additionally, it could have variable filters for CW, SSB and others

It does have an advantage of very low quiescent current and an 8 pin dual op amp can be used providing one other amp for active filter networks. 

The filtering shown affects the slew rate so that crossover distortion is noted.

This filter could be made to be a higher frequency such that the slew rate is less affected. 

additional filtering could be put into another op amp circuit using an 8 pin dual chip
