with a proper strong mosfet you can see the gate voltage stops and then continues check this http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5376829683400704 anyway, i miss an inductive load, cuz with capacitive only its usecase is somehow inrealistic, a buck converter e.g. would drive an inductivity.

hurz - yeah that's what I started with but it gives a 1A spike if you switch power on and off, so no go on that; my new version is greatly improved; as for inductive loads I didn't have to worry about that here, just trying to power up an ODrive board
